• Only MANavigator8 is supported under Windows7.

• F1 Key doesn't display "Help".

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which depends on a feature that isn't included in this version of Windows. However, you can download a program that will allow you to view Help created in the Windows Help format. For more information, go to the Microsoft Help and Support website.

• Be sure to install MANavigator and run using a Windows7 account that has "Administrator" privileges.

• Change Windows "Properties" of installer file to:

Right click file name:  MANavigator8.exe or MANavigator8ServicePack.exe
Left click properties
Left click the Compatibility tab"
Checkmark "Run this program in compatibility mode". Select "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)"
Checkmark "Run this program as an Administrator"
Click OK
Run installer

When FULL installer prompts for install directory... change from "c:\program files (x86)\MANavigator8" to "c:\program files\MANavigator8"

• Configure MANavigator start icon to run with "Administrator" privileges by default:

Right click MANavigator icon.
Left click properties
Click Advanced
Checkmark "Run As Administrator"
Click OK
Run program.

• Set MANavigator start icon Compatibility mode:

Right click MANavigator icon.
Left click properties
Click Compatibility
Verify there is NO checkmark in "Run the program in compatibility mode for..."
Click Apply. Click OK.
Run program.

• You may have to reattach the data.mdb file as Win7 uses a different directory. Try this path to the data.mdb school file (the file may be shown as "data" depending upon how MS Explorer is configured):

c:\program files (x86)\MANavigator8\data.mdb

• Report bitmap logo paths may have to be changed to point at Win7 "x86" directory. From the MainMenu->Setup->BitmapGraphics screen, enter the following pathname for each bitmap file preamble:

c:\program files (x86)\MANavigator8\graphics
